How Does The Lightman Work
The Lightman not only carries out functional tests on pulse oximeter sensors but essentially is a specialised spectrometer for checking the accuracy of pulse oximeter sensors.
The accuracy of a pulse oximeter sensor is dependant on the LEDs emitting the correct wavelengths. A wavelength error is defined as the difference between the expected wavelengths and the observed wavelengths.
